Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Environmental Engineer to join the team in New York City. As the Principal Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and managing our environmental engineering projects, driving technical excellence, and providing strategic guidance to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex environmental engineering projects, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the areas of environmental compliance, remediation, water resources management, waste management, and sustainable practices.
- Conduct site assessments and investigations to identify and evaluate environmental risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement innovative solutions that minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
- Provide technical oversight and review of project deliverables, including environmental impact assessments, engineering designs, and regulatory compliance reports.
- Stay updated with relevant environmental regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends to ensure compliance and enhance project efficiency.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs and objectives.
- Mentor and support junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on consulting and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering environmental engineering projects, including remediation, compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permitting processes.
