One of my clients is urgently looking for a Project Estimator to join the team and support the Offshore Wind projects!
As an Offshore Wind Project Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for our offshore wind projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of renewable energy and play a key role in the successful execution of our projects.
This will be the permanent position based in the Tokyo office, Japan.

Job responsibilities:
- Manage development assumption book and related supporting documents for the base case and scenarios
- Work on Investment Financial Models (managed by Financial Modeller) for mid stage development projects
- Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for offshore wind projects
- Maintain the schedule of the forecasted cash flow
- Identify and assess potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs, and incorporate appropriate contingencies into the estimates
- Work closely with finance and project management teams to ensure alignment between cost estimates and project budgets.
- Support the company and Joint Venture reporting for specific projects. This can include providing inputs to required forecasts/business plans as supported by the cost book
- Support the continuous improvement and further development of cost management tools in Offshore Controlling
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience in cost estimation for big-scale projects (oil & gas, LNG, renewable energy, infrastructure, etc.)
- Business Japanese and English fluency
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders
