Requirements:
-bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
-2-10 years of progressive experience with stormwater analysis, design and permitting
-PE license or ability to obtain one is required
-Project management, client management, and AutoCAD, Civil 3D and HEC RAS water modeling experience
-self-motivated and able to work well with others.
Typical responsibilities include:
Prepare and review design reports and construction plans using local and state standards
Prepare/assist with technical specifications
Coordinate pre-permitting and prepare regulatory permit submittals
Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
Assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks
Evaluate and design stormwater projects, including open and enclosed drainage systems
Design municipal civil projects that may include water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, local roads, utility infrastructure improvements, etc.
Monitor task budgets and progress
Document design changes and communications
Conduct on-site condition inspections as needed
Prepare project status and other reports
Assist in the preparation of proposals including development of scope, schedule and budget
Attend client, public, project and staff meetings
Maintain excellent client relations
