Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of experience working as an Engineer
- An active PE license in the state of Illinois (if you do not have active licensure in Illinois, it must obtained it within 12 months of employment)
- Experience working with municipal client communities
- Knowledge of basic principles and experience with Stormwater management, water distribution, wastewater collection systems, and water mains
Responsibilities
- Plan design, development of specifications, project budgets and other related bid documents for civil engineering projects
- Assisting municipal clients with asset management and long-range capital improvement planning for transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure
- Attending municipal board meetings
- Review development plans for compliance with local requirements, including stormwater management, grading, sanitary sewers, water lines, and water mains
