Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Environmental Engineer/Geologist/Scientist, serving as a Task Lead and Assistant Project Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating various environmental projects for remediation and site assessments, with a focus on writing technical reports, including Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs), Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies (RI/FS), and Remedial Action Plans.
Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Act as a task lead on environmental projects, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of project work plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Technical Report Writing:
- Lead the preparation and review of technical documents, including EIRs, ESAs, RI/FS, and Remedial Action Plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Client Interaction:
- Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to address project requirements and facilitate smooth communication.
- Present technical findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of technical reports and documents to maintain high standards and accuracy.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, scientists, and project managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related industry.
- EIT or GIT certification preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
