Partnered with a versatile engineering firm that specializes in transportation infrastructure. They're looking for a Bridge/Structural design engineer to join the team and play a major part in design for many of their recently won work. They work on a ton of DOT projects and have won a lot of bridge replacement projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, developing state-specific and county projects, and planning for surface transportation. You will also be responsible for the design of all bridge types, preparing reports, cost estimates, and assisting throughout the construction phase.
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of experience with design/analysis of bridges
- Load rating and bridge rehabilitation design experience
- Experience with MicroStation and CAD software
- Proven success in developing, designing, preparing reports, and etc.
- Experience with NBIS inspections and FEM structural analysis
Preferences:
- PE license in SC
- EIT license in SC
- Or ability to obtain
