Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing advanced battery storage products. You will be responsible for designing battery enclosures, performing simulations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards for outdoor electrical equipment installation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop energy storage enclosures and other related components.
- Conduct simulations to validate design performance and reliability.
- Ensure designs meet safety standards and regulations for outdoor electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot design issues as needed.
- Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience in design and development of power equipment.
- Strong knowledge of enclosure design, simulation techniques, and safety standards for outdoor electrical equipment.
- Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Business-level communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BESS or energy storage technology.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
