One of the top 10 power firms is seeking a Lead Transportation Electrification Engineer. In this role you will lead and design infrastructure projects in zero-emission mobility and transportation electrification.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical engineering design for EV charging projects from concept to construction packages.
- Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams for complete designs.
- Work with utilities and permitting agencies.
- Support construction, review submittals, and attend site visits.
- Identify fleet conversion opportunities and assess feasibility.
- Collaborate with customers to define project needs and solutions.
- Draft technical scopes for subcontractors and proposals.
- Review electrical design packages for quality.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to staff.
- Create white papers for industry conferences.
- Present solutions and findings to clients.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- 8+ years of relevant experience, including transportation electrification and/or Electric Charging station design and development.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in one or more states.
- Strong grasp of engineering techniques, NFPA 70 (NEC), and related codes.
- Experience in designing electrical systems, including facility distribution, lighting, and low voltage.
- Conceptual design experience for renewable power systems.
- Collaboration with vendors for pricing and evaluation.
- Proficiency in vehicle electrification and zero emission mobility.
