A top and tier-1 Water Treatment Engineering MNC is looking for a Lead Design Engineer in Singapore. You will be leading a team of engineers to oversee the detailed engineering tasks for water and wastewater treatment plants.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sketches on P&IDs Drawing, Fabrication Drawing, Equipment Layout Drawing, Pipe Routing Drawing, Equipment and material datasheet
- Perform equipment sizing calculation, pipe sizing calculation, hydraulic calculation, pipe stress analysis, material take off
- Raise purchase requisition
- Check and sign off engineering design
- Liaison with in-house design team aboard to meet engineering deliverable.
- Perform value engineering to drive cost down.
- Evaluate vendor quote and provide input on vendor selection.
- Support business initiative to bid and win job as required.
- Support Project Management/ Construction Team on construction activities as required.
- Support Commissioning Team on commissioning activities as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Masters' Degree in Engineering / Environmental Science
- Minimum 5 years working experiences in design of water and wastewater
- Highly motivated and able to work under pressure
- Experience in construction, test and commission, and operation of water and wastewater plant is a plus point
- Well versed in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Familiar in MS SharePoint, MS Team, and Naviswork
- Ability to operate AutoCAD and SAP is a plus point
