LVI are working with a well known national engineering company looking for a highly motivated, and skilled Junior Forensic MEP Engineer to join the team in sunny Florida! This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading multi-disciplinary engineering firm that specializes in investigating accidents, failures, and disasters. As part of the team, you will have the chance to develop your skills while working on challenging projects across various industries.
You will be responsible for conducting detailed analyses of various incidents involving building's mechanical/electrical failures such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. As part of this process, they must conduct thorough examinations by analyzing data collected during field inspections using technical knowledge gained through their education & practical work experiences. As a successful candidate, you must possess strong mechanical or electrical engineering knowledge combined with a strong understanding for failure and root cause analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Registered EIT or PE preferred.
- 4+ Years experience working with mechanical or electrical systems.
