Job Title: Interiors Construction Superintendent
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interiors Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of our Interiors construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team of construction professionals.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of Interiors construction projects from start to finish.
2. Supervision: Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
3. Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
4. Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
5. Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and minimizing project overruns.
6. Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
7. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to achieve project objectives.
8. Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential challenges or obstacles and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
10. Schedule Management: Monitor project schedules and milestones, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes or delays and ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Interiors construction, with a proven track record of managing successful projects.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
5. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore or Microsoft Project.
6. OSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred).
7. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
