Job Title: Assistant Construction Project Manager
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Construction Project Manager to support our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will assist the project manager in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
* Assist in developing comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project manager and other stakeholders.

2. Budget and Cost Management:
* Support the project manager in monitoring project expenses and tracking costs against budget allocations.
* Assist in reviewing and processing invoices, change orders, and other financial documentation related to the project.
3. Quality Control and Assurance:
* Participate in quality control inspections and ensure that construction work meets contractual requirements and industry standards.
* Assist in addressing any quality issues or deficiencies identified during inspections in a timely and effective manner.
4. Risk Management:
* Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact project timelines or budgets and collaborate with the project manager to develop mitigation strategies.
* Assist in implementing risk management processes to minimize project disruptions and liabilities.
5. Communication and Stakeholder Management:
* Serve as a liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory authorities, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
* Assist in preparing and distributing project-related communications, reports, and updates to keep stakeholders informed of project progress and milestones.
6. Document Control:
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.
* Assist in organizing and managing project files and records in accordance with company procedures and industry standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
* Previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in a project management or assistant project management role.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
* Understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and safety standards.
