Job Title: Superintendent
Salary: $110-$140K
Location: Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan area

Position Overview: As a Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead on-site construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control standards throughout the construction process, conducting regular inspections and addressing any deficiencies promptly.
Safety Compliance: Enforce rigorous safety protocols and standards to create a safe working environment for all personnel on site. Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance, direction, and support to on-site personnel, including subcontractors and laborers. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment conducive to productivity and success.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Keep all parties informed of project progress, issues, and resolutions.
Problem Solving: Identify potential challenges or obstacles to project success and proactively implement solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project continuity.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Cost Control: Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to continually improve processes and enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
