Job Description:
As a Senior Superintendent with expertise in high-rise construction, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful completion of our projects in the Dallas area. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities for high-rise projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety compliance.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to on-site staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met in accordance with the project timeline.
Cost Control: Monitor project costs and expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet or exceed project specifications.
Safety Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all on-site activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction, with a focus on high-rise building projects.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.
Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore or Primavera P6.
OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
