Introductory Paragraph: Our client, a leading construction company based in Ohio, is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience managing various heavy civil projects including bridges, highways and sitework/utilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience as a superintendent/project manager on complex infrastructure projects such as concrete structures for transportation systems like highways/bridges.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings/specifications/plans/schematics
-Successful track record supervising project teams consisting of foremen/operators/laborers/tradespeople etc.
-Knowledgeable about safety regulations & Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) standards
Skills:
-Leadership skills with the ability to motivate people towards achieving common goals,
-Must be able manage time effectively with excellent organizational abilities; prioritize tasks accordingly while being flexible enough if priorities change without much notice.
Salary Range:$100k-$140k
