Position: Heavy Civil Project Superintendent - Roadway Construction
Location: Orlando, FL
Salary: $100,000- $140,000 + Bonus(s)

Position Overview: As the Heavy Civil Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of FDOT roadway and bridge projects in the Central Florida area. You will lead a skilled team of professionals, ensure project success from planning to completion, and uphold their company's standards of excellence and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of FDOT projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Supervise and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to address project challenges and ensure client satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction to minimize disruptions and ensure project continuity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Experience working on FDOT projects is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
