Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- EIT/FE certification; PE license preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with local regulations, permits, and industry standards.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in heavy civil engineering and construction projects.
- Hands-on involvement in project planning, design, and execution.
- Experience in producing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Track record of coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and project scheduling.
- Previous exposure to environmental and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Conduct field inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
- Provide technical support to field teams and resolve engineering issues.
- Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and drawings.
- Participate in budget tracking and cost control efforts.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
