Your New Role:
- Working collaboratively with designers, consultants, contractors and owner to achieve mutual project goals
- Engaging in ongoing coordination with engineering disciplines and design-assist subcontractors
- Reviewing and monitoring of performance mock-up
- Responding to Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Reviewing and coordinating submittals and shop drawings
- Coordinating and detailing technical solutions regarding design, fabrication and installation
- Assisting and leading the effort to prepare Change Order documents and seeking approvals
- Monitoring installation and performing completion reviews
- Interfacing with State Hospital inspectors concerning code compliance
- Interfacing with Owner-provided inspectors concerning quality controlwork within a highly collaborative team environment
What you need to Succeed:
- 15+ years of experience in Architecture
- Bachelor of Architecture degree required; Master of Architecture preferred
- Licensed Architect; LEED Accreditation a plus
- Experience providing Construction Administration services on a large-scale healthcare project
- Familiar with building codes and tested life safety features
- Experience with exterior envelope systems from design through construction completion; high-rise experience is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive approach to timely problem solving is a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- User of AutoDesk Revit Architecture required
- Adobe CS4, Sketchup, 3DStudio Max and/or Form Z a plus
- Ability to work within a highly collaborative team environment
