Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) License in Georgia
Skills:
- Strong knowledge and background in soil mechanics, foundation design & analysis
- Experience using Geotechnical software packages such as PLAXIS or GRLWEAP
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Responsibilities:
As a Geotechnical Engineer at our client's firm you will be responsible for but not limited to;
* Conducting site investigations including drilling logging,
* Undertaking geohazard assessments; instability analyses;
* Preparing technical reports according to applicable standards.
* Performing numerical modeling related studies like slope stability calculations etc
