Geotechnical Engineer

Role: Geotechnical Engineer/ Engineering Geologist

Location: Columbus, OH

Salary: $100k-$120k

"Must-have" profile of the successful candidate include:

· BS in Civil Engineering or geology, or related degree

· Valid US Drivers License, and a reliable means of transportation

· Ability to travel, for extended periods of times (two to three weeks)

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

"Nice-to-have" skills for the successful candidate may include:

· Geologist-in-training (GIT) certificate .

· Prior experience with geotechnical investigations, including soil borings, rock coring, and material testing

· Prior experience with geotechnical software (gINT, GeoStudio, LPILE, ALLPILE, DeepEx, etc.)

· Experience with design of foundations, support of excavation systems, and preparing reports

· Experience with AutoCAD a plus, AutoCAD 3D even better

· Experience in geophysical testing and evaluations, including active and passive MASW and ERI.
