LVI are currently seeking an experienced Forensic Accountant for a Director role in Washington DC to join a successful Top-Tier Consulting Group.
In this role the successful candidate will have an opportunity to grow and develop their skill and experience within the clients Forensic Practice, offering services in forensic accounting, fraud investigations, and economic damages.
Responsibilities:
- Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data
- Physical inventory observation, price testing
- Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement
- Checking and proofing reports and schedules
- Conduct phone, video or in person interviews to obtain information
- Prepare preliminary draft of report narrative and schedules
- Analyze and reconcile claim to final calculation
- Research, data analysis and evaluation
- Invoice analysis
- Attend marketing events and functions with clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related area of study
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment, bringing positive energy to the team
- A passion for forensic accounting work
- Excellent financial modelling and writing skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills
- CPA credential and substantial progress towards achieving CFF or CFE credential
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
