We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled forensic structural engineer to join our client's reputable engineering firm based in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting site investigations and assessments of buildings after disasters such as earthquakes or fires
- Analyzing data collected from investigations and providing detailed reports outlining findings.
- Providing expert witness testimony when required
- Collaborating with other departments to develop strategies that prevent future accidents
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
1) A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with specialization in Civil/Structural Engineering
2) Minimum 5 years' experience working on in structural design and forensic structural engineering
3) Licensure through Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC)
4 ) Proven track record conducting successful building code compliance audits

2. Excellent communication skill; both verbal and written; able explain complex technical information clearly ;

Salary:
The salary offered by our client will be CAD 120000 per annum depending upon qualification & Experience.
