The Federal Proposal Manager will be responsible for leading the proposal development process for government contracts and ensuring that all proposals are compliant with RFP requirements and are of the highest quality. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather information, develop proposal strategies, and manage the proposal development schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the proposal development process from start to finish, including leading proposal kick-off meetings, developing proposal outlines, and managing proposal reviews
- Ensure proposal compliance with RFP requirements and government regulations
- Lead the development of proposal strategies, including win themes and discriminators
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information, develop proposal content, and ensure proposal quality
- Manage the proposal schedule and ensure that all proposal deadlines are met
- Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance
- Lead the proposal debrief process and incorporate feedback into future proposal efforts
- Keep abreast of government procurement trends and regulations to ensure that proposals are competitive and compliant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal proposal management
- Strong understanding of government procurement regulations and processes
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience with proposal management software
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
