The Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the proposal development process for new business opportunities. This includes coordinating the efforts of cross-functional teams, managing the proposal schedule, and ensuring compliance with RFP requirements.
Key responsibilities:
-Develop and implement proposal strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
-Lead cross-functional teams in the development of proposals, including technical, management, and cost volumes.
-Develop and manage proposal schedules and ensure compliance with RFP requirements.
-Conduct proposal kick-off meetings, color team reviews, and proposal debriefs.
-Coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals, including proposal reviews, editing, and formatting.
-Provide guidance and mentorship to proposal team members to improve proposal quality and win rates.
-Maintain proposal metrics and historical data to support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in a related field.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management, with a proven track record of leading successful proposals.
-Strong project management and leadership skills. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Experience with proposal software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
-Familiarity with government procurement processes is a plus.
