Joining our esteemed Consulting Clients litigation support practice, this individual will spearhead the delivery of top-notch forensic and financial analyses, expert witness testimony, and consulting services for clients navigating complex litigation scenarios.
Our Clients Forensics, Valuation & Litigation Support (FVLS) practice consistently exceeds client expectations by integrating best practices in financial, accounting, advisory, investigative, and valuation services across a broad spectrum of industries and clientele, ranging from large corporations to smaller firms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in expanding the FVLS practice by crafting and implementing strategic plans aligned with our client's mission, vision, and commitment to being a trusted partner.
- Enhance our client's brand by showcasing thought leadership and embracing marketing and sales programs.
- Leverage entrepreneurial skills to establish strong internal and external relationships, aiming to broaden the client's brand, acquire new engagements, and generate revenue for the firm.
- Lead and oversee multiple concurrent engagements within the FVLS practice, focusing on matrimonial litigation support services such as forensic accounting, financial analysis, expert testimony, and related services.
- Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and stakeholders to provide expert insights on complex financial issues and disputes.
- Offer strategic guidance to clients on financial and accounting matters during litigation and disputes.
- Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure profitability targets are achieved.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex matrimonial litigation concepts, supporting firm initiatives through internal knowledge sharing and panel discussions.
- Provide high-quality, timely client service, coordinating the development and execution of consulting work plans and client deliverables. * Collaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts on complex matrimonial litigation support matters.
- Ensure the engagement team possesses an in-depth understanding of the client's business.
- Support the growth and development of team members, assisting them in achieving their professional goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, keeping the FVLS group at the forefront of the industry.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: CPA, CVA, ABV, ASA, CFA, CFE, or CFF.
- 15+ years of experience in matrimonial litigation support services, encompassing forensic accounting, financial analysis, expert testimony, and consulting.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams of consultants and analysts.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of nurturing client relationships and generating new business opportunities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, contributing to the growth of the FVLS practice and the firm overall.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of experts and build enduring relationships with clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with Quicken and QuickBooks is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
