Introductory Paragraph:
Our client is a leading heavy civil construction company that specializes in Department of Transportation (DOT) projects throughout Marion County / Indianapolis. They are currently seeking an experienced estimator to join their team permanently.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years' experience as an estimator (and/or project manager with willingness to become solely an estimator)
- Strong knowledge of DOT projects within the state of Indiana
- Ability to lead teams on large-scale infrastructure development plans
Skills Required:
The ideal candidate will have expertise with the following skills:
Estimating - The chosen applicant must be able to accurately assess costs associated with materials, labor, equipment hire etc., whilst taking into account any other financial considerations relevant for each individual project.
Project Management - Be efficient at planning schedules so all stakeholders can meet deadlines effectively; also responsible for tracking progress against objectives while providing regular updates or reports about said progress towards those goals.
LVI - Experience working on LVI contracts would give you a competitive edge over your peers.
