We're looking for a seasoned Renewable Estimator who specializes in projects involving renewable energy generation, including battery storage, solar, wind, hydrogen, and similar areas.
The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in estimating or managing projects and a solid grasp of the construction process. They should also be familiar with civil, structural, and electrical aspects. This role involves delivering precise and prompt project estimates by analyzing requirements, spotting potential challenges, and suggesting viable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver precise project estimates promptly for wind, solar, and battery storage projects, ensuring all costs are accounted for accurately.
- Analyze project specifications and design documents thoroughly to pinpoint any potential issues or challenges that might affect the project's timeline or budget.
- Propose value engineering options to the client, aiming to decrease costs or expedite construction without compromising quality.
- Work closely with the project team to devise cost-effective solutions aligning with project needs while optimizing profitability.
- Foster and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery of materials and services.
Qualifications:
- Require a minimum of five years experience as an Estimator, along with either a two-year technical degree or equivalent relevant field experience.
- Prior experience in EPC preconstruction.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam PDF software, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P6.
- Familiarity with the Accubid estimating software system.
