Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 7 years' experience as an estimator within Commercial Buildings sector
- Proficient use of estimation software programs such as ConEst/Bluebeam Revu/Sage Timberline
- Knowledgeable about local building codes/regulations pertaining to all types of projects both large scale new build & refurbishment.
Skills:
Nashville Expertise - Familiarity with the city's geography/topography has become vital when planning constructions that blend into surroundings naturally
Estimating Skills - The ideal candidate should understand how much materials are required while also accounting for labor costs including any potential delays involved during construction
Commercial Building Experience - Prior work dealing specifically wth designing blueprints/layouts/materials needed etc will aid them greatly
LVI knowledge - A sound understanding regarding Low Voltage Infrastructure (or LV) which can include data networks,cabling systems cameras,sensors ,fire alarms,& security components among others
Responsibilities Include:
* Prepare detailed estimates by analyzing plans/specifications/tender documents provided by clients
* Monitor pricing trends/market fluctuations so bids remain competitive even if there is inflation present
* Work closely alongside project managers/architects/engineers throughout different stages from inception through completion
* Manage relationships between various parties like vendors/subcontractors supplying necessary equipment/supplies/services
Salary Offered: $120000-180000 per year
