We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager with a Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license to join the team in Olympia, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation, and regulatory compliance, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Conduct site assessments, investigations, and remediation activities in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement project work plans, including sampling and monitoring plans, data analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and internal team members to facilitate project execution and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Perform technical reviews of reports, drawings, and other project deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and project negotiations.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, and integrate new knowledge into project strategies and approaches.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license in the state of Washington required.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental consulting or related industry, with a focus on project management and regulatory compliance.
- Proven track record of successfully managing environmental projects of varying complexity and size, including experience with contaminated site remediation.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, and Washington State cleanup regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in project management software, data analysis tools, and GIS platforms preferred.
