Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage environmental remediation projects
- Prepare Phase I and II Environmental Assessments
- Implement environmental remediation technologies, and practical applications
- Obtain new environmental business opportunities and grow client base
- Technical report writing, manage scope, schedule, budget, and subcontractors
- Assist with and establish client relationships and foster client retention and growth
- Prepare proposals and coordinate workload of support staff
- Direct field staff and subcontractors and conduct field work as necessary
- Adhere to safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
Requirements:
- Undergraduate and graduate degree from an accredited program in science or engineering
- Minimum 8-20 years of relevant progressive environmental consulting experience
- Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist licensure in Colorado, or the ability for reciprocity within 6 months
- Demonstrated success with project and program management
- Established network in the environmental industry with knowledge of environmental regulators, vendors, and suppliers preferred
- Successful experience in both the public and private sector preferred
- Experience working with the City and County of Denver is preferred
