Summary: One of the Big 4 are currently looking for Field Service Manager in their Houston Location to manage 10-25 Mechanics and run field operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee mechanic with the elevator service jobs
- Lead and develop field employees
- Survey jobs
- Process safety and quality job audits
- Manage safety training
- Dispatch mechanic to job sites
- Order equipment and supplies for the project as needed
- Manage labor and material cost
Experience and Skills Required:
- 5 years Elevator Industry Experience Required, preferably field/mechanic experience
- Budgeting experience - Job cost control, material and manpower
- Ability to lead & motivate a team - engagement of field mechanic team that is geographically dispersed, working remotely
- Understand the by-laws of union agreement - familiarity with the union-represented work environment
