Job Opportunity: Electrical/Industrial Distribution Engineer
Location: Oakland & Walnut Creek, CA
About the Role: My client, a privately-held consulting firm with an international presence, is looking to bring an Electrical/Industrial Distribution Engineer to sit out of either its Oakland or Walnut Creek office. They are actively seeking an engineer to join the team and will help manage the electrical side of ports/harbors as its clients generate power through the use of offshore wind, LNG, and Oil & Gas.
Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical projects at ports and harbors
- Industrial design for oil & gas/LNG including lighting systems, MV/LV power distribution systems, & grounding systems
- Prepare electrical calculations and drawings in accordance with code requirements
Qualifications:
- 4-10 years of experience work on design of LNG/power plants/oil & gas on the distribution side
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- PE license/EIT (preferred)
