Description of Duties:
Reporting to the Project Manager, our Grouting Superintendents are responsible for the day-to-day construction activities for the grouting program. Working with the Project Management team, they are responsible for the implementation and execution of project design methodologies in order to meet project performance and costing requirements. They are responsible for organizing, delegating, and supervising production, maintenance, safety, and manpower for the cost-effective and efficient execution of the work.
The Grouting Superintendent exercises discretion over and is responsible for the following day-to-day duties:
- Safe execution of the work;
- Planning, selection and allocation of labor force;
- Allocation and maintenance of equipment resources;
- Coordination of subcontractors;
- Materials coordination and management;
- Coordination with QA/QC teams;
- Oversight of all drilling & grouting related field operations
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in directing field operations for drilling and grouting of dam foundations and experience with drilling grouting equipment;
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in a supervisory role on dam grouting projects;
- Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Drilling/Grouting Superintendent on previous successfully completed grouting projects;
- Intermediate computer skills (Outlook/Excel/Word)
- Advanced proficiency English language communication skills, both written and oral;
- Able to safely and freely access and work in all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments (heat/cold; rain/snow);
- Willingness to relocate (preference) or travel on rotation (an option) to Washington state; and
- Legally authorized to work for all employers in the United States.
