As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Compliance to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive compliance programs to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related matters, both internally and externally.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of potential risk and non-compliance, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Provide guidance and training to employees at all levels to promote a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Human Resources, and Operations, to address compliance-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to proactively anticipate and address compliance challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance management, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, such as ITAR, EAR, and DFARS, as well as industry standards like ISO 9001 and AS9100.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a common goal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification is a plus.
