My Client is currently seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Director of Acoustics to assume a leadership role within our organization. The successful candidate will be entrusted with leading and managing our team of acoustics professionals, ensuring the delivery of top-notch acoustics consulting services to their clients. The Director of Acoustics will play a pivotal role in providing technical direction and mentorship to our team of acoustics consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a dynamic team of acoustics consultants, ensuring the prompt and high-quality delivery of acoustics consulting services.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the acoustics consulting team, fostering the development of essential skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding acoustics solutions.
- Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships, involving the management and negotiation of contracts and proposals.
- Conduct intricate noise and vibration assessments across diverse projects such as construction sites, transportation, industrial facilities, and buildings.
- Utilize specialized software and equipment for precise measurement and analysis of noise and vibration levels.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports detailing acoustics solutions and recommendations.
- Extend technical support to project managers, engineers, architects, and clients.
- Collaborate with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to ensure adherence to relevant noise and vibration regulations.
- Participate in project meetings, offering technical insights and support to team members.
- Collaborate seamlessly with our team to formulate and deliver exceptional acoustics solutions aligning with our clients' requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in acoustics consulting and assessments.
- In-depth knowledge of acoustics principles and their practical application in the built environment.
- Proven track record of effectively managing and leading a team of acoustics consultants.
- Proficiency with specialized acoustic measurement equipment and software.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
