We are currently looking for a Country Manager in Taiwan for an international renewable energy company.
The Country Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing the company's presence in Taiwan's offshore wind market. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the offshore wind industry, strong business acumen, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and driving business growth. The Country Manager will oversee all aspects of our operations in Taiwan, including sales and marketing, project development, customer relationships, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Taiwanese offshore wind market, including market analysis, customer segmentation, and sales and marketing plans.
Lead the identification and pursuit of business opportunities, including new projects, partnerships, and strategic alliances, to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the Taiwanese offshore wind industry, including government agencies, developers, utilities, suppliers, and industry associations.
Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and trade shows to raise awareness of our brand and capabilities and identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement, and project management, to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership and guidance to the local team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce.
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics impacting the offshore wind industry in Taiwan, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards governing offshore wind projects in Taiwan.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Strong track record of success in business development, project management, or related roles.
- Must have Offshore Wind industry experience.
Deep understanding of the Taiwanese offshore wind market, including regulatory framework, market dynamics, and key stakeholders.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies, drive revenue growth, and achieve business objectives.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions.
