As a Controls Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining control systems that drive the heart of our automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create state-of-the-art control strategies, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to define control strategies, specifications, and objectives.
- Program and configure PLCs, Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other automation devices.
- Conduct system integration, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including control schematics, manuals, and reports.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and control system design.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
- Strong knowledge of control systems, automation devices, and industrial communication protocols.
- Familiarity with HMI design and configuration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
