Construction Quality Control Manager (Environmental Remediation and Geotechnical Construction)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to work with one of the fastest growing geotechnical and environmental contractor in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control plans for construction projects, focusing on environmental remediation and geotechnical construction.
- Ensure construction activities comply with applicable environmental regulations, permits, and standards.
- Provide technical expertise in geotechnical construction, including soil stabilization, cut of wall, excavation, foundation construction, and slope stabilization.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of quality control efforts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar
- Minimum of 5 years combined experience in the following positions: QC Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer or Construction Manager on large scale USACE or DOD construction contracts, which included the heavy civil & cutoff wall construction.
- Professional Engineer preferred.
- Ability to travel as required.
- 30 Hours OSHA certificate
- Current USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors training is mandatory.
- Experience using of US Army Corps of Engineers RMS contract administration software.
- Preferred Experience managing federal projects for clients such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and other state agencies.
- Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), AutoCAD & Primavera
