The client are looking for a charismatic individual to lead their commissioning group with a strong technical understanding of the commissioning process and leading a team through this. You must be comfortable client facing and will have had experience developing and bringing on accounts within the New England area and in particular the Greater Boston market place.
- Responsible for business development and revenue/resource planning for the commissioning market in New England
- Responsible for development of team's market, clientele, and project development, including initial client contact, proposals, and service follow through
- Work with the Business Principals in setting and delivering aims for the commissioning group.
- Develops project scope, budget and schedules
- Ensures that the project, from the original authorization through post occupancy, meets all requirements of the client and standards of quality of the firm
- Serves as project manager for select commissioning projects
- Promotes collaboration within project teams
- Manager of a strong team of Commissioning Manager & Project Engineers working on various building commissioning projects in Healthcare/ K-12/ Science/ Data Center
- Responsible for team development and hiring as the commissioning group grows
- Regional travel will be expected of you.
Experience required
- Strong background in MEP/ HVAC commissioning
- Proven track record of leading a commissioning department
- Proven track record of business development within the Greater Boston & New England region
- Professional Engineer License (P.E) preferred - not required. Time in the trades will be considered.
