We are working with a top 100 ENR Firm on an project management position that has lots of room for progression and autonomy over your work. In this position you will be responsible for leading, managing and overseeing all activities on assigned projects. You will be the representative of the project in the office, acting as the primary advocate and point of contact for the client. You will be responsible for overall project performance including quality, budget, and schedule. This position leads their team of engineering staff to ensure the facilitation of a project's completion on-time, on/under-budget, and meeting the firms quality standards. As a PM, you will need to communicate with and coordinates production processes and personnel skill development with the Director of Civil Engineering.
Team Responsibilities:
- Oversees a team of engineers and technicians producing multiple projects.
- Responsible for productivity / billable time of staff under their supervision.
- Involved in high level production assisting all staff within their team.
- Complete project responsibility related to the preparation and development of contract documents
- Routinely communicates with the Director and Market Sector Principals regarding project status.
- Prepare and negotiate scopes of work and fee proposals with outside consultants with Director's oversight.
- Responsible for project profitability, budget and schedule performance, and quality requirements
- Collaborate with Project Team Leader and Independent Technical Review (ITR) professionals concerning the project quality control plan and its implementation.
- Coordinate with Directors, other PMs and Market Sector Principal regarding workloads and resource allocation within the market sector
