Hiring: Civil Engineer / Designer
We are working closely with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with expertise in land development. Due to recent project success, the company is expanding and looking to bring on board an experienced Civil Engineer / Designer to their team. They have worked closely with both the public and private sectors across Tasmania and built their expertise in land development projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a range of projects across diverse sectors and to work alongside adjacent disciplines and leaders in the field. Please find further details below.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within multi-disciplinary consultancy to deliver a range of subdivision, road and rail infrastructure projects.
- Carry out assigned projects through civil engineering documentation and AutoDesk design work.
- Exposure and involvement in project management to provide services such as a request for tender, preparation of schedules of quantities and contractor engagement.
- Providing technical expertise in land development projects including integrating with other service functions.
The ideal candidate would have:
- 3+ years in the field of civil engineering or relevant industry experience in the Australian market.
- Project experience in sectors including subdivision, railways, drainage and/or hydraulic services.
- Storm water modelling experience is preferred but not required.
- Extensive problem-solving, organisation and time-management skills.
