We are seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in land development and infrastructure design and permitting. As a project manager, you will be involved in all aspects of land development including planning, design, permitting, client and agency communication, construction observation, and plan production. You will be responsible for managing staff members time and input for successful project completion. This position is part of an exciting team and applicants have many opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from four‐year college or university. Must have passed the PE exam. Florida Professional Engineer preferred. Must be eligible to register within the state of Florida if not a PE in Florida. Position qualifications include:
5+ years of experience directly related to design and construction of stormwater, municipal, and land development projects.
Experience in storm water analysis and modeling.
Strong computer skills utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, storm water modeling software, as well as Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies.
Hard working, detail oriented, and technically sound with engineering principles & practices.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Motivated to progress in career path with a growing firm.
Candidates with related work experience in Florida preferred.
Responsibilities:
Manage multi‐discipline land development design and entitlement teams.
Lead mentoring and training for design engineers and engineering interns.
Assist in new client development.
Serve as point of contact for clients.
Direct responsibility for projects and leading a team in the development of plans and specifications for commercial, mixed‐use, multi‐family, residential and other types of projects.
Responsible for project management reporting, scheduling and client invoicing.
Perform hydraulic analysis, pump station designs, utility pipeline design, stormwater design, pavement design, and routine engineering calculations.
Observe and attend meetings with clients or project stakeholders.
Ability to multi‐task, prioritize, give direction, and supervise/manage staff.
