This role requires periodic travel to the Company's various offices and project sites, as well as other meetings and conferences as necessary

The responsibilities of the CFO include:
- Provide day-to-day leadership of the Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A teams, while also contributing to ongoing Project Financings and other strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted business partner and financial advisor to the CEO and executive team.
- Participate in Board meetings, as well as meetings with financial institutions, investors, and other external constituencies; contribute to and oversee the development of relevant presentations and materials.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, working in collaboration with various functional and departmental leaders.
- Support debt and equity financings, in collaboration with the Chief Investment Officer.
- Oversee the development and utilization of data-driven reporting tools to monitor on-going performance.
- Establish and/or oversee all financial and operational controls and metrics within the organization.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, third party and other financial reports to ensure compliance with regulatory and other taxing entity requirements.
- Assess, develop, and/or lead the implementation of financial processes and policies that mitigate risk yet maintain flexibility.
- Support and manage banking relationships.
- Manage relationships with external audit, tax, and accounting firms.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performance Finance team.
The CFO should have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably with a breadth of hands-on management across accounting, treasury, and operational finance.
- Prior experience working effectively within a dynamic, high growth environment.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to build a high performing, efficient function, processes, and team.
- Prior experience within the renewable energy or broader power sector is required.
- Recent exposure to the public markets is desirable but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field; MBA is preferred.
