Overview: We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in power delivery and utilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing growth opportunities within the power delivery sector. The position is offered out of our Pennsylvania Office (Greater Philadelphia Area) or our Orlando, Florida office. There is also the opportunity to work fully remote from anywhere in the U.S.A. depending on experience and qualifications (please note that candidates located in Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone are preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the power delivery and utility market segment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including utility companies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
- Lead the development of strategic plans to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that address client needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Monitor industry developments, regulations, and policies that may impact business operations.
- Track and report on key performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the power delivery or utility industry.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying and closing business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of power systems, grid infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
