Job Description: We are seeking a talented and motivated Bridge Design Engineer to join our team in Minnesota. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of bridge structures, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed bridge designs, including structural analysis and calculations.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for maintenance or rehabilitation.
- Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards related to bridge design and construction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as SAP2000, MIDAS, or similar.
