Job Title: AV Residential Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation and integration of audiovisual (AV) systems in residential properties
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other contractors to ensure seamless integration of AV systems into the overall project
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion of projects
- Supervise a team of technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications
- Conduct site surveys, produce design and engineering drawings, and develop scope of work documents
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide guidance on AV system options and solutions
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation process
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing AV installation projects in high-end residential properties
- Strong knowledge of AV system design, integration, and installation practices
- Experience with control systems, including Crestron and Savant
- Proficient with AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements related to AV installations.
