My client is looking for an experienced Audio Visual Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining audio visual systems for our clients. You will work closely with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer audio visual solutions for clients based on their needs and requirements
- Install and configure audio visual systems including video conferencing, digital signage, sound systems, and control systems
- Collaborate with project managers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for audio visual systems
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in the audio visual field
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including system diagrams, user manuals, and installation guides
- Conduct on-site client training and support as required
- Work with vendors and suppliers to source and order equipment and materials
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in audio visual system design and installation
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp
- Strong knowledge of audio visual equipment and technologies
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
