Our client is a leading provider of industrial automation solutions, seeking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Automation Sales Engineer for their team. The ideal candidate will have strong business development skills coupled with extensive knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADAs and other relevant technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience as a sales engineer within the industrial automation sector
Skills:
Sales Skills: The successful applicant must be adept at identifying new business opportunities while nurturing existing relationships that drive growth.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems & Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA).
Attention to Detail: The ability to pay close attention on customer needs through active listening can lead towards building trust which further contributes towards fostering long term relationship resulting into increased revenue generation.
Responsibilities:
* Develop strategies for generating leads by implementing various marketing tactics such as organizing trade shows etc.
* Nurture prospects throughout the entire sales process until they are ready make purchase decision .
* Collaborate with both internal teams like engineering , production along with external stakeholders including customers, vendors, suppliers ensuring company objectives met.
