Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Automation and Controls Engineer who possesses a strong background in designing, programming, and implementing automation solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy automation solutions tailored to meet client requirements.
- Lead the integration of control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and other automation technologies to optimize operational efficiency and productivity.
- Develop detailed specifications, functional requirements, and technical documentation for automation projects.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients during system installation, commissioning, and post-deployment phases.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in automation technology to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of X years of experience in automation and controls engineering, with a focus on systems integration.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and/or C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA systems, industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP), and motion control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external clients.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
