This national employee-owned firm is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Hydrogeologist to join the team in Seattle, Washington. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting hydrogeological assessments, analyzing data, and providing strategic recommendations to address a wide range of groundwater-related challenges. Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydrogeological investigations, including aquifer testing, groundwater modeling, and well installation.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret hydrogeological data to assess groundwater quality and quantity.
- Prepare technical reports, including environmental impact assessments and groundwater remediation plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for water resource management.
- Communicate findings effectively to clients, regulators, and stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
- Stay current with industry advancements and regulatory requirements related to hydrogeology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in hydrogeological consulting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in hydrogeological modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW) and GIS applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex hydrogeological data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional Geologist (PG) or LHG certification or eligibility is preferred.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes is a plus.
